Now we’re working directly with companies to address inconsistent healthcare quality and rising costs across the nation. Through experience and best practices, Cleveland Clinic has developed programs to give employers a proven means to manage costs, improve their employees’ quality of care and challenge the way today’s healthcare delivery system is organized. For more than fifty years, we have worked with employers to provide programs focused on executive health, wellness and expert second opinions.  In 2010, Cleveland Clinic developed the Program for Advanced Medical Care to address inconsistent healthcare quality and escalating costs for employers across the country.

Group Practice Model

Cleveland Clinic is one of a few truly integrated care delivery systems in the country. Structured as a group practice, the staff physicians are salaried employees and are not in private practice. They pool their wisdom and expertise for the benefit of the patient and the community.

Beginning in 2007, Cleveland Clinic reorganized into clinical institutes centered on organ systems to better compliment the group practice model. These institutes foster an environment that maximizes coordination, improves patient access to multiple specialties, allows experts to act as a dynamic team, and results in optimal treatment for patients and potential cost savings for employers.
